This is a short animation I made basically to test how a finished product could look like from me. Its the first one that I’ve fully colored and added sound to, so I’ll have at least this much effort put into future works.
Behind the Scenes/Inspiration
Here’s the first version of the background. It looked very nice when I added it, but in comparison to the final, it wasn’t the best.
And here it is added to the animation. I colored in the foreground building very sloppily. The fill tool in Pencil 2d is not the best.
I colored in Guy! Was very happy with this.
A redone version of the background. The sky background is the same, but I actually spent a bit of time tracing the outlines and then coloring it in. Layer by layer. (It didn’t really take that long, but it was a little extra work that made things look way better.)
All I had to do now was color in the pipe on the side, and then I was finally done with the visual aspect.
I don’t think adding sound requires it’s own section, it was simple enough. Sounds are from Zapsplat.com which gives free sounds, I have to cite it for legal reasons 🙂
